- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with full work and study rights
- Have completed Year 12 or equivalent, or completed an AQF Certificate IV level qualification or successfully complete a Level 4 LLN assessment
- Be able to complete 100 hours of work placement in a suitable workplace
- Have sound computer skills and intermediate Word skills to complete assessments
- Have access to a laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check and Police Check (or be willing to obtain them prior to placement)
- Meet any required immunisation or health check requirements set by the placement facility
- Complete a Pre-Training Review interview
